April Currently

It's time for the April Currently!

*FRIENDS...best t.v. show.  I still get excited when I come across several hours of FRIENDS on t.v., even though I have the DVD set!

*I have a new love for Excel spreadsheets.  Everything aligns so much better than Word, and sometimes I just use them to organize my thoughts.  I highlight cells to color code them, and love using the sort features.

*So much to do before I go back to school, and so little time!

*I am always in need of thank you notes.  I wish that I would just get a giant set of thank you notes that would last me the whole year.  That would be the ultimate teacher gift!

*What nail polish colors are in for Spring '13?  I always do a French manicure because I have such a hard time picking colors!

*I am confident that the best is yet to come.  I can achieve success through hard work and perseverance :)

Sneak Peek...Class Books!

Just wanted to show you a sneak peek of what is to come!  I just finished my April Class Book Set!

It is just $2 and includes 5 class books!  That's one per week (and maybe an extra depending on the year!).  The April set is the first of my monthly packs.  The other sets are almost done, and I expect to have them out by the end of this week!  I also made a freebie to share:

*As always...I will give away my new product to some lucky followers!  I will send my April Class Book Set to the first 3 followers who leave a comment with an email address!

Online Stopwatch

Just wanted to share a cool website I came across...

My transitions have become so much quicker and more fun since I started using this!  I love these timers because they're fun and help me maximize my teaching time.  There are many versions of the timer including swimmers racing and a burning candle!  If they become distracting for your students, there are plain timers too.  I love bringing a visual into the "How many minutes?" question.  It helps young students develop a sense of time.  Hope your students enjoy these as much as mine do!

March Currently

It's time for my first ever "Currently"!

Listening: My space heater is always on!  I am just always cold!  I am sure some of you can relate.

Loving:  Who wants to go to the store where there's a snowstorm?!?  I like to spend my snow days inside putting my outfits together online!

Thinking:  If only there was a way to put an extra hour in each day...

Wanting:  Microwave popcorn has been one of my latest cravings.  It's actually not as unhealthy as you'd think...

Needing: A regular sleep schedule.  Some nights I sleep 12 hours, some nights I sleep 3.  It's bad.  I'm surprised my body can function on the strange amounts of sleep I allow it to get.

Like/Love/Hate:  K was a tough letter!  Most teachers like kids, so that was a freebie.  I always say I don't like sweets much, but leave me at school 'til dark with a bag of Hershey's kisses in my drawer and I'm in heaven!  And Ketchup...used to like it...and now...not so much.

Stay tuned for a freebie coming up this week!  :)
